Governors
The Governing Board plays a vital part in the running of the school. They meet half termly and work extremely hard to support the Headteacher in making decisions about every aspect of school life. The Governing Board draws together parents, staff, members of the local community and representatives of the Local Authority to work in partnership for the good of the school and all its pupils.
The Full Governing Board meet regularly throughout the year, focusing on a different aspect of school management at each meeting. the focuses for meetings are as follows:
- Curriculum and School Improvement
- Finance and General Purpose
The Curriculum and School Improvement meeting focuses on the Quality of Education throughout school.
The Resources and General Purpose meeting focuses on the sound financial management of the school, including health and safety.
